Kevin Mitchell has been blasting Khan for easier fights and saying Paulie is a blow away yet none of you guys label Mitchell as 'cocky' '****' 'complete idiot'

Khan may say some stupid things. But as if Carl Froch hasn't? As if Kevin Mitchell hasn't?

A lot of you jumped on Khan when he called Paulie easy. Kevin calls Paulie a blow away and says to Khan he's had it easy, yet NONE of have anything to say about him?

Who's Mitchell fought to date to criticize Khan and Malignaggi? Yes he fought the guy who beat Khan but that doesn't exactly give him the right to start hitting on Khan and Malignaggi.

Khan retaliated to Froch when he lost and Khan was blasted like a *****. But Mitchell gets the go ahead to do it to Khan and Malignaggi? :patsch

I don't know why people get so hung up on what comes out of a boxers mouth. Watch him fight and judge him on that alone. Anything he says about another fighter is self promotion and designed to get him a shot at his title, and make himself some money. Look at Haye's verbal performances over the last couple of years with the K's, same thing. Froch with Calzaghe, same thing...

I wish everyone was like that. But people are just so sprung on what these guys say/do in their personal lives that they automatically become '****s'

No. It's just that people jump on the one person, yet others can get away with it quite freely?

People should just judge them on their boxing, not on what they do/say in their personal lives.

I know Kevin but I don't think he's well known enough for ESB as a whole to be blasting his ass over any comments.

Actually dude, it was Khan who initiated these war of words with Mitchell. Prior to this, Mitchell and Khan had always been kind in their opinions about one another. But Khan not not long ago, stated Frank Warren wouldn't risk putting his latest Golden Boy (Mitchell) in with him, as he'd beat Mitchell pretty easily. A bit of a silly thing to say, as Mitchell's a pretty decent guy who's always shown respect to Khan. Furthermore, Khan was a protected Golden Boy of Frank Warren himself not long ago.

:think. I'm sure Mitchell started it? no? Even so, if Khan did, it's not like said a bad thing. Mitchell just continued to blast on Khan saying Paulie is any easy pick who can be blasted away. Mitchell can't talk. Who has the guy fought to date? He's in no position to blast these two.

All I'm saying is, Khan is treated unfairly for the things he says.

I'm trying to look for the quote, I remember reading it on the scene where boxing is. Whilst it wasn't terrible what he said, it still came off a little disrespectful, and I honestly don't blame Mitchell for being annoyed by it. Other guys like Calzaghe, Froch, Murray have bad mouthed Khan in the past, Mitchell however (being a direct rival) had nothing but nice things to about him.

But no I do agree with you though, that other fighters who say far worse things than Khan (who to be fair, who doesn't say that much wrong to begin), don't recieved half the stick he gets. But I guess that's what you get when your name is more known, as your words are magnified and scrutinized a thousand times more than others. Which is why it's even more important for Khan to be careful in what he says to the media. All too often (especially recently) he's made silly and naive comments

Well to be honest when Mitchell fights Michael Katsidis next week, he will have faced better opposition than Khan has. Plus Kevin Mitchell doesnt tout himself as a P4P star like Khan does

Paulie is a far better fighter than Katsidis (who lost to a guy that was schooled by Paulie twice!). If Katisidis ever fought Khan, he'd be on the recieving end of a massively wide UD, maybe even a stoppage late on.

Also, Khan has never touted himself as a P4P star. When mentioning the term P4P, Khan has always used it in conjuction with "One day I'd like to". There's nothing wrong with aspiring to be a P4P top fighter, especially when you've got the tools to do it
