Mitchell was beat soundly. No excuses should be a factor for that type of loss. Put a fork in him, he's done sadly...

Aye right, same shite different week:lol: How often do you hear this utter **** once a fighter has lost!!! He is trying to convince us that Mitchell is better than he is. But he aint all that, domestic level and no more. Warrens face was a picture, and gave me a good laugh when he lost his latest cash cow.

you could say the way people were talking about mitchell after he beat prescott that he was already an elite. it really just showed the difference in class. khan's in the same boat. he's talking abuout fighting maidana, but personally i don't think he's ready yet. both are getting rushed, both have lost. it seems that alot of prospects are losing lately by getting rushed to the top. a few goldenboy prospects have also met the same fate.

Freddie Roach would not put Khan in if he was not ready, Khan is ready he has come on loads since joining freddies gym. Some of our other lads should take note id be over to the States in a flash if I was the likes of Mitchell and Gavin.

lol this thread is laughable... see how much hate there is for Mitchell! Its ****! Were all British at the end of the day, i dont rate Amir Khan but im a fan cause hes British!

End of the day, he got beat by a guy thats been in with, Casamayor & Diaz. Mitchells defence let him down. Right hand was never ever up.

Lennox Lewis was spanked twice, he became a LEGEND! Vladimir Klitschko has been KTFO he owns the Heavyweight division! When i first walked into the boxing gym, i was told i have to learn to lose before i learn to win! Mitchell will be back bigger, better, stronger, faster... I hope!! But we need to back our man people

It does sound as though they are trying to make excuses for the loss.He was soundly beaten and needs to go away and rebuild. Its not the end of the world and he can come back from this.

Agreed - this is why none of our fighters are taken seriously across the pond until they are well and truely proven. It's all hype and padded records
