This is very true (and also off topic of the thread).

However what you fail to mention is that it is pretty much impossible for us to qualify these days giving our seeding and the groups we are drawn.

Ask yourself this, would England have qualifed from our last few groups? The year we had Italy and France (both world cup finalists from the previous tournament) the answer is NO.

I'm not having a dig or rant I'm merely pointing out that the seedings are geared towards helping the so called bigger nations qualify.

The only way we can get, lets be honest, PISH EASY groups like you do is to climb the rankings. We really need to qualify for a mjor tournament again to do that. Beating the Czech's will help but it won't provide miracles. We are years and years away from competing in all honesty.

I am not down on Scotland, was just defending England.

I actually have Scotish herittage and my surname is part of the largest Clan.

Taylor was maybe a point or two up Billy, how many rounds did you score to Ricky in the Gonzalez fight? Pretty sure Ricky had lost every single round until the pull out so it's not a great comparison.

Also, Froch knocked Taylor out whereas Gonzalez pulled himself out, and I don't remember Taylor asking for a rematch either! He would have got one in the super 6 had he continued.

Agree with most of the other things you say, Burns is a level above Mitchell both physically and mentally.

I was there, leaning over the balcony watching.

He does get hit too much but half the time its almost as if he wants to taste a bit of leather.

At times his defensive work is a joy to watch. his bobbing and weaving is excellent. In offence he punches very very correctly with excellent snap and is well balanced.
