Has Derry Matthews been stripped like Eubank Jnr?

Or is this another new bending of the rules?

He has vacated. Apparently has a world title shot lined up for early 2016

    Mitchell Vs Crolla/Perez.

Mitchell won't go near Linares again so that's probably the easiest route to a world title.

It could be a decent 2016 for some of these lightweights, if Crolla wins tonight, Mitchell, Burns and maybe even Campbell will be eyeing title shots.

The Sky/Hearn PPV model will go hard if Crolla wins tonight.

The WBA hands them out like shifty uncle Bob hands out sweets to little kids.

So why has Terry previously turned down the fight? Derry and FW have wanted it since July, Terrys the one stalling on it.

  11. Derry doesn't deserve a world title shot.

Flanagan needs to fight a legit contender.

The odds are fairly close with Mitchell at 1/3 and Barroso at 9/4. On paper this looks like a competitive fight. Also it must be a first for a British boxer to have back to back fights against two Venezuelan opponents.
