He needs the money? I genuinely don't know- I'd have thought he'd have made enough by now.

This probably explains tibbs tweet earlier about no time for drink and drugs in this game.

This suits Mitchell. Booth likes his men to circle near to ropes and aggressively counter punch. Mitchell's biscuit tin is shakey so he'd get on well down the arches with the lads..

I doubt that Booth is peppered. He seems too smart to be stupid with his dosh.

Maybe he just, you know, likes training boxers? I know it sounds farfetched and all, but he is a boxing trainer :D

Don't think there's any truth in this Mitchell rumour though.

If I were a fighter and Jimmy Tibbs trained me I wouldn't won't to go anywhere else personally, Jimmys the most experienced coach and most successful in England let alone London.
As for Kevin making SFW no chance,I've always said Kevin's a good fighter but Ricky No1, Rees No2,Kevin No3 in the UK

Mitchell doesn't live the life, not sure he ever has really, he has some talent but he's too small at LW and won't get beyond Euro level. If Tibbs can't motivate him what chance has Booth got?

change of scenery might do him good but think the brutal defats by burns and especially katsidis have ended his hopes of going any further than euro levels

Both Booth & Mitchell's styles would gel well, but would Booth put up with his antics?

My only guess would be a change is as good as a rest, but If you were a boxer and were being trained by the best man in the country...why would you screw up your chances?

It's not like Mitchell is a young kid, he's probably in or around his prime for fighting (and partying, maybe) but with some time on his side he really should be knuckling down for another 4/5 years then party all you like.

I dont know him, but from what I read his head isnt properly in the game and not even for a training camp of 12 weeks.
