when hatton fought thaxton for the british people said the same then. so compare khan to mitchell britains best two prospects, who has the best chance then?, imo its mitchell as he has the chin and has the power. khan got ko and still we believe the hype, he fights a old man in barrea and still we believe the hype.

Don't think many people beleive the hype after MAB-Khan. Mostly they fall into one of two camps, either MAB was robbed of a certain win because of the cut or (my view) MAB was too slow, too old and too small to beat Khan and the win is no more than a "job done".

Good call on Hatton-Jonno but I just don't see that same spark in Mitchell. He's got time to prove me wrong though...

i hop mitchell doesfight again soon from a selfish reason i would love to see him have a warm up fight at york hall(just round the corner from me) as the last bill him and his brother had a great buzz and all the old faces were out it was like an icf reunion!
mitchell will beat mertinez and beat him easy he has the chin to take anything that martinez throws at him this is a fighter who couldnt even stop estrada in 10 rounds a fighter mitchell dealt with in 5 despite not being at his best.yet i wont belive this fight will happen until im ringside as warren doesnt give a **** about mitchell and wont give him the attention he deserves until khans stopped selling tickets/ppv.mitchell should jump ship to hennessey

I'm surprised you rate him so highly. He seems an accident waiting to happen for me at top level. If warren really rated him he'd have moved his career upwards by now

your optomistic about him, i hope hes able to do something with his career, his record is padded i'm aware he isnt pushed to be some sort of superstar but hes a young fighter whos been boxing for atleast 6 years he hasnt fought any one of any significant note to determine how well he'll do against fringe world class, his best win was against carl and andre issev i watched both those fights i wasnt taken away either time, u say he has power i dont see any power carl got ko'd twice when he was fighting a euro-level fighter inside 5 rounds, for mitchell to have proven himself he would have made shortwork of carl who was considered past his best. from many of his recent fights he makes too many mistakes i'm really under the impression some of his flaws will be exposed and all this ring rust will contribute to it even more just my take

I think Mitchell is far too easy to tag and really needs to tighten his defence up if he wants to make waves at world level.

Mitchell will prove his talent, against carl johanneson we saw the kid box beautifully for 3rounds then got involved in a war. This 2 me proved two things, number one he can box, and number two he can dig deep. Against Estrada I believe he was injured ie hand (snapped tendon) and that he had not fought a southpaw in years, ie Estrada was a late replacement. Now that the hand injury is sorted I really do expect mitchell to mount a challenge for top honours. All that frustrates me is the exposure he gets, the press boxing writers need to get behind him as mitchell imo will be a world champion

what do you mean oh dear.

Hatton struggled agaisnt Thaxton and Magee. Mitchell will be the same. I think Mitchell is better than Hatton was at 23/24, also mitchell doesnt have the wbu to hide behind for 4 years.

Mitchell is better than Hatton was?

    Based upon what exactly?

Beating Walter Estrada or Edison Torres, or being taken to within one punch of being knocked out by Carl Johanneson?

I know you have serious issues with the WBU 'title' and to a lesser extent Hatton himself..... but use your loaf son!

Even his biggest haters, TFFP, Scurla and Betty wouldn't say silly **** like that.
