Good idea to go after Vasquez for Mitchell. Both tilts at world title he's been out manned IMHO. Vasquez as awkward and good a boxer he is doesn't present such a physical threat and may give Mitchell half a chance.

the thing is with kevin mitchell after the murray fight he wasnt active enough, and he seems to have had a manic life outside boxing.

would love to see him do well though seems like a nice kid.

Yes going to Simms was a good move as Simms wont take no crap, and getting in the ring more regularly will help to sharpen Mitchell up

Agreed..... Being in the gym with barker ryder joshua purdy taylor and the returning cadman wont do any pro much harm.

No point him having 1 fight back and straight into a world title shot, regardless if Vasquez is the easiest shot or not, Mitchell hasnt been active enough IMO he needs 2 or 3 good wins then go for it.

He has to be more active and to be honest a shot against any world champion is going to be a lot to ask for. I for one would like Mitchell to do well he got me into boxing which to many would be weird because Hatton and Joe Calzaghe was just before. He is someone who was my favourite boxer after watching he verus Prescott especially after he knocked Khan out.

Maybe a shot at number one rated Ameth Diaz after this bout would help him if he can get out quickly.

Mitchell has had 2 world title fights that have lasted 7 rounds between them no need to push him to quickly there must be reason he has unraveled 2x in World title fights if he is as talented as the pundits and fans on here make out
