let him come back and have a bad performance and then we can say hes finished.

 

He wasn't doing bad especially in round 2.It always looked like he could be pressured though and drawn into a fight,which is basically what happened.I'm just wondering if at the top level Mitchell isn't strong enough at the weight and might be better dropping back down to Super Feather if he can make it.

 

Because his punch resistance has gone to ****. He made Pacquiao look like he has Bob Foster type one-punch power. He nearly got stopped by Lazcano, he even got stopped in his tracks by a Malignaggi right hand. And his style has always relied on his shipping punishment. If he can't do that anymore, which he can't, he can't impose himself and he's ****ed.

 

Don't be to hard on Kev,he just didn't fight a smart fight..but there were times in the fight when you thought this could be you're night kid...O'K so you lost some scratch,some of you lost big time,you'll make it up.Kev showed moxie taking this fight it's not one i would have recommended,and there's not a lot of fighters out there who would have stepped up for it.....come back Kev we need brave fighters not cherry pickers..

 

but hatton has always had that problem, he got knocked down by maggee, wobbled alittle by thaxton, feather fisted luis collazo had him out on his feet and almost stopped him, mayweather a guy who is not known for his punching and hasn't scored a actual knockout since his lightweight weight days knocked hatton out.

Fighters do got knocked down and wobbled occasionally, but like I said, his defence is terrible and therefore his style has always relied on him taking punches. What about the bombs he walked through against Tszyu, easily the biggest puncher out of the lot that of the names you've mentioned. It's deteriorated no doubt.
