Which is actually a bull**** thing to do on both the tax-payers part, and the part of the individual. I mean, surely they can scheduale a fight for say 8 oclock, and make him return home before 11ish or something like that.

No need to apologies for the socio-political standpoint, I was a History and Politics student and made a habbit picking apart bull**** decisions like this

I think to have the impression that Kevin was carrying a knife is absurd.I've known Kevin for a long long time and I can assure u Kevin has never carried a knife on him.I can understand how it looks, but sometimes it can seem far worse than it is.no excuses but a statement will b made public to give clarity on the subject.I may stress Kevin has worked closely with many charities before and after this came to light, denouncing street crime guns and knifes. Hope I can bring a little light on the subject

The knife was found in his car, it's pretty incriminating. I understand it may not have been his, but facts are facts.

He is my favourite currant fighter, so i'll back him (even if it was a silly move on his part). Any idea when we will hear any news?

lol Thanks for the reassurance! Agreed - the point of a curfew, when they were originally introduced, was to protect the public and prevent reoffending. This was then extended to also break up what were seen as 'problem groups' that gathered after dark, and these days it has been extended further to work as a restriction-of-liberty deterrant, sort of like casual prison. In my opinion it does not work under the later criteria - if someone is a genuine danger to the public they should be locked up as the true dangers won't respect a curfew. To prevent someone earning their living - particularly in a profession that has a clear shelf-life - is out of tune with the lawmakers' original agenda, so I agree with you entirely.

Unfortunately, whatever the facts of the case, if Mitchell had an offensive weapon in his car then he leaves himself open to this situation, however unfair some aspects of it are, so while he is being punished for a mistake, he did make the mistake.

Yes, I think I read August?

What u mean to clarify the situation Kev is in with regards to his arrest etc and his troubles and how he sees himself going forward in the future. Can't c that being a problem ?

It could be a good move for him - Matchroom have good momentum, Eddie Hearn would do a good job with him I think, and it seems like Mitchell could do with a fresh start; sounds like there's too much history with his current outfit, a new start elsewhere could suit both sides.
