Wonder how many bedding in fights Mitchell will need to getting used to fighting under Matchroom

 

Matchroom normally do 3 fight contracts anyway, so is not really a risk for them.

You can look at this in 2 ways. Frank got Kevin the Katsidis fight at West Ham live on Sky. Masses of media coverage, 20,000 tickets sold etc etc and Kevin ****ed it up. He then got him the Burns fight.

But both times, was Kevin ready for those fights. Prior to Katsidis his only world level fight was against Prescott, if you compare that to who Brook, Haye, Froch etc had faced prior to there world title fights it doesn't even compare, they had 3-4 fights against guys at Prescotts level. Going into the Burns fight he had 1 fight in 16 months against a relative journeyman in Felix Lors, hardly great preperstion.

As long as Kevin isn't thrown into the fire this could be a good move. Fight in May, July, October & December this year.

Come through that and you can go for a World title.

Not what he said, Ice, but deleting Mitchell from HIS profile doesn't make much sense. Unless Mitchell was actually "poking" Rob.

 

Reading back I know what you mean, it sort of indicates that they have a shared one over which he has control, thats even weirder :?
