:patsch These are one of the main reasons I left being a fan of Hatton, and now Mitchell.

These guys just go underground after their defeats, but I can somewhat understand Mitchell's pov, since he is going into a big fight and would want a tune-up, and THEN get some decent money for a Murray fight. I don't like how he's just gone undercover for the past year or so, though.

nice. who was having a go at who?

Mitchell has some cheek if its negotiations ploy. he gets a world title shot against a name at his home football stadium and he doesnt train proper and drinks because of girl troubles? :-( be they real or not, he is meant to be a professional.

If i was Warren id be pretty angry

Kevin just feels that he should get what he deserves. Its nothing to do with a tune up.

Having no fights? Saying he'll pop right back in the Summer, and not hearing a word since December?

First we hear that he's back in Jan, then Feb, then March, and now April. What next?

Well, according to his Trainer, he does appear to want a tune-up before a Murray fight, so I'm sure that means something.

Well obviously, he'll want to get paid something decent for Murray, and that is down to Frank, but Mitchell should have got his arse up as soon as he lost and tried to rebound asap. What's it been? a 3/4 year lay-off?

Take something **** for a tune-up, and then ask for something decent from Frank for a Murray fight, because right now, I can understand Warren being annoyed after spending so much £££ on him.

Mitchell was paid £65,000 for the Katsidis fight. The article says he has been offered less than half for this fight.

£30,000 is a joke purse for such a big fight.

i hate warren but he say's he helped pay his mortgage payments, what more does kev want, headlining at upton park against katsidis is obviously going to draw big money!! he should settle for half that against murray in an ebu title fight, don't think he wants it at all, he doesn't deserve big money after being destroyed by katsidis, if he wants big money he needs to work himself back into contention.

Let's not forget how much Frank spent on purse-bids to get this fight in the Uk, shall we.

    Mitchell's brought this on himself.
