Maybe Mitchell felt he had no other option. Also doesn't really seem like a public outburst. Its not Kevin thats saying anything.

He must be pretty pissed off at the offer for this to come out.

im gettin sick and tired of frank warren goin on about the fight against kastidis warren made a loy more money than kevin did from that night it was his most prfitable promotion of last year not to mention the mitchell bill also gave warren the chance to showcase chisora and de gale
to offer mitchell the money he has is a fukin disgrace 30k for a fight when you only fight twice or 3 times a year is a joke take off jimmys 10%(his trainer) 40% tax and ni 10% for other costs like transport materials etc and hes left with 12k for 4 months in a world where moratges are a small fortune petrol and food cost the earth how the hell can he live after payin off the money he has borrowed whilst inactive.#
fact warren makes money out of mitchell pay the kid what hes worth as he will outsell murrary 5 to 1 due to the location of the venue.
the truth is warren is pissed with mitchell for losin as he would have made a fortune off
mitchell that is the real reason he has turned on him

There was about 18,000 people pissed off at his performance. He should just take the fight.

To be honest 30k isn't a bad offer when you consider what some other domestic fighters are getting for title fights!!!

18,000 that paid average of £70 a ticket is allot of pissed off people but also allot of ££££ for Frank Warren.

Most champions that have a half decent following will be getting more than 30k. I guarentee Stephen Foster Jnr is getting more than that for

Whatever happend in Mitchells last fight he is a high profile fighter that sells tickets and gets good TV figures. Can Murray say the same?

Kevin deserves parity, would be shocked if Murray is getting anything near as low as 30k

If he needs the money negotiating another 25% to his purse will be worthwhile no?

It'd be wrong for me to comment on purses of fighters because that's their business mate but you'd be surprised at what fighters get paid nowadays, 10 years ago a fighter could expect 70k-100k for european title fights but not anymore!!!

I'm gonna jump to Mitchell's defence here (surprise surprise). 30k is a joke offer, simple as that! The fight generates a shitload more than that on Mitchell's fanbase alone. Sky would promote the **** out of it ie can he come back from adversary and the public (west ham supporters) will be genuinely interested. He should be settling for a 55-45 split in Murray's favour at worse. Yes Murray is the European champion, but the fight wouldn't even be for the belt!

Mitchell is a bigger draw and sells more tickets in London. That's what it boils down to. If warren wants Kevin's popularity to sell tickets, he has to dig a little deeper!

I find it very hard to believe Warren made much if anything from that show that purse bid was enormous plus all the Olympians and massive undercard thats why Warren was pissed off. If he had won he could have got him in with JMM PPV and it would have been massive.

Well no, because this isn't a negotiation. He can either take the offer or leave it.
