Fair play to MItchell he fought hard and very well, great permonance. Threw alot of uppercuts hence doing alot of damage to a hard opponent. Deserves a world title shot. Murray was as brave as ever and hope hes ok.

Katsidis exposed his glass jaw, if he can't beat him he will never be world class.

    I was impressed:

    - Weaving left and right when in-fighting avoided many power punches - very impressive - Almost Sweat Pea-esque weaving

    - Also used lateral movement

    - Took powerful punches, and retaliated immdediately - good chin

    - Uppercuts and hooks were precise - very precise - powerful punches

    - Mitchell showed he has good defence with his weaving and lateral movement

Katsidis is coming off two brutal losses though.. I fancy Mitchell to pip him over 12 rounds if they fight again. Murray was never the big deal though, amazingly resilient but the likes of McAllister, El Ouazghari and even Al Hamidi showed everyone how Murray can be beaten. :rasta

    - He's probably better off fighting Rios,

    - on the proviso ****** can strike a deal with Arum

    - because a world title can be gained.

Theres no shame in not beating Katsidis. The fight with Marquez last yr was a proper tear up and better than the Khan/Maidana fight imo. Last nights outing proved Mitchell deserves another crack at the whip.

Rios is much fresher than Katsidis though, Mitchell's diving back in at a good level by fighting an undefeated ex-European champion in Murray. Rios is again, another big step up, at least Katsidis is on the slide and has been beaten convincingly in his last two fights. I do think he gives Rios a much tougher fight than most people seem to expect though, Rios hasn't exactly beaten A grade opposition convincingly to get to where he is. :rasta

Ive always liked Mitchells style, but his cocky ass had to be brought back down to earth so its good Katsidis gave him a stompin. And now Mitchell did the same to Murray who was also kinda hyped. Wouldnt mind a rematch with Katsidis or fights with Rios and Prescott. Just not in England, but most likely will happen there anyways Mitchells fanbase is there.

You think Katsidis is on the slide? I think he gave good fights, but was just beaten by the better fighters. Rios not beating A level comp? You dont think Acosta and Anthony Peterson were A level comp?
