I could've worded that better actually.. not on the slide so to speak, but he's been in a lot of wars, and his last two losses were his most brutal and convincing. Acosta & Peterson were excellent wins don't get me wrong, but they certainly aren't A level wins. Peterson was poor against Rios and I previously hadn't seen anything about him to suggest he could compete at the top end of his division. :rasta
I agree witha couple of earlier comments in that Mitchell's chin could go if he faces someone like Rios or Katsidis again. Can he take there punches even if he is prepared better that the last time he fought a good puncher. Answer is probably not. Remenber that Johannson had him lots of trouble but then again look at what Johannson did to a young Ricky Burns. Maybe he not quite as dainty as Richard Lewis.
I get it that Mitchell lost to Katsidis. But that shouldn't take away from every good performance he has. Or the rest of his career. Even great fighters lose sometimes. I'd rather they lose than protect their '0' with easy opponents.
