They hardly have completely contrasting styles do they? They both come forward and both like to go to war. Katsidis didnt do nothing special against Mitchel, just took the fight to him and completely overpowered and outgunned Mitchell. Rios will do the same, using better angles and probably bigger shots.

No way Kev lasts in this fight pal. NO WAY!

So he's overrated because one of the top boxers out of his division would give him problems? Awesome.

I would say if the same Mitchell turns up as turned up against Katsidis he will be in big trouble.

Like I say can't get too involved as know sweet FA about Rios.

Rios is also a champion, just giving an example.

Plus Rios wants to move up to 140.

He would give Khan problems too. I don't see why Rios is overrated, never see him in P4P lists despite a good record and dominant performances. Not everyone has to have a 'slick' defensive style, he imposes his will on opponents like few can.

I have always felt he has the capability of being a bit special but then we're all entitled to our opinions and after the Katsidis performance I can completely understand everyones view.

Like I said let him come to 140 and see how he fairs, 135 lacks a bit at the min.

I want to see Gerrero vs Rios...

He wouldn't KO Paulie either. But to be fair he handled that bird well

I only used the Murray fight to gauge how long he’d last against Rios. That's all. It wasn’t to indicate exactly how the Rios fight will go (which I guess would be a stoppage defeat of some sort).

Quite - it would obviously be an upset if Mitchell were to beat Rios, if they ever met Rios would rightly be favourite and I think he'd win (although I would love Mitchell to pull it off) but I think people read too much into Mitchell-Katsidis. Mitchell was so far off his game that night, so poorly prepared, not right in the head and all of that, that I don't really think we can judge how Mitchell would cope with top fighters based on that performance.

The Mitchell from the Murray and Prescott fights would flatten the Mitchell from the Katsidis fight!
