well he was he didn't make the weight and barely made the rehydration weight and he fought lethargic. atleast he didn't struggles with michael gomez or willie limond...
Wow... just read through this thread and I'm amazed by how quickly Mitchell has been written-off. He has superb technique and - if he stops ****ing about - he can definitely become a world champion. Of course, like Del Boy, you never know what to expect when he turns up for a fight but a well-conditioned, in-form Murray will trouble anybody. As for a fight against Rios I think he would be a significant underdog but would never write him off. Rios himself says he can't box for **** and while that's doing himself a disservice, I don't think it's unfair to describe him as a top-drawer slugger.
Mitchell's only chance in this would be do box like vs Prescott but he's not good enough to do it and certainly not good enough to beat Rios at his own game.
Wtf is this .Rios doing a chicken at the end hahahah .He's with cheato [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2IhaV54iBM[/ame]
not a fan of Rios, but he's got a lot of power. Mitchell should be given a shot at him, if he stuck to his boxing he'd be in with a shout.
Mitchell has great options at LW now: vacant WBA belt, Burns for the WBO, rematch with Katsidis or Murray. Hope he doesn't **** his chances away.
^^^ Vasquez and Demarco aren't the strongest beltholders in the world either. Great chance for a another unified British champ here!
