BUT,

please be aware that unless you actually are involved in this business you haven't really got a grasp on how things don't 'just work' because its the right thing to do or would make for a better situation.

You miss the fact that the reason why Murray v Rees hasn't even been discussed is because he has quite a demanding fight ahead of him on the 25th.

If he wins that, he may not even be keeping the british title, no one knows for sure yet and its not something he will want to decide until AFTER his next fight.
So how can we discuss a fight that realistically isn't ever going to happen anyway?

Another thing you miss is the fact that at the moment, all the promoters are trying to make the best fights for THEIR OWN TV DATES.
All the fights you mention are with fighters who's promoters need to fill their own dates with quality fights so it makes for a little difficulty sometimes, not impossible of course, but its not as straight forward as you seem to think.
The undercard is being worked on, but obviously it's not something that will be spoke about bit by bit on a forum. When fights are finalised then we will announce them.
Oh, and just so you know, we HAVE offered for some good fights to take place and we HAVE had offers turned down.

On the Haye v Klit issue.
The fight WAS agreed, yes. But the contract was totally different to what was agreed. Why should someone go into a fight as big as that for when the terms are significantly different to what was agreed?

If a british title challenger has been promised 10k plus ticket commision at a rate of 10% for a fight against a good champion, agrees to it but when the contract comes it reads 8k plus 5% should he be slagged off for not taking it because the fans want to see the fight?
Everybody that steps in the ring has the right to turn a fight down if the deal isn't right for them. Thats the same for small hall fighters as it is for world champions.
Getting punched in the head is a serious thing.

I understand that David has talked and talked the Klit fights up, but the deal has to be what was agreed. Simple.

Murray has his own plans, and the people around him are looking at big fish i believe.
So i think it's wrong to call him a fool if he has something lined up that furthers his career than a fight with gavin rees?

Again, promoters win purse bids so they can put on quality main events for their own tv dates. If they don't they won't get tv dates and right now, tv dates are gold so sometimes its not likely that they will let their name fighter on other shows unless it suites.
Anyway, like i have said before, things that go on don't always make it onto the forums just like i suppose things that happen in normal working job's boss's office don't make common knowledge in the workplace.

But things are being discussed and fights will be made.
