How would the Kevin Mitchell that beat Murray have done against Rios last night?? I reckon he could have boxed to a decision.. giving him angles and movement I think Rios would have struggled... Murray was made for Rios..and Kev wouldn't have taken half the punches that Murray did...
Micheel can be hurt early as we seen with Katsidis and think hurt him early, once Rios had him hurt he'll end it.......IMO
Not sure... I think murray performed way better last night than he did against mitchell, but I think Rios is overrated.
This. Someone told me earlier that we/they need to get Burns/Rios..........though i think Rios is moving up ??? Anyways, Mitchell/Burns would have worked him over......though i will say Burns more than Mitchell.....BUT thats based on how i see Burns filling out at Lightweight. I will add.........Murray was a 7 in comparison to Rios being a 10-11 in there style.....yet oh so similar. Fair play to Murray btw....... Good thread :good
I think Rios is moving up yea.. He didn't make the weight and it was being talked about before the fight... So now he's been stripped I assume so. Burns is another good one to throw into the mix...I also think Ricky would have given Rios a nightmare last night..
Mitchell has a great chance against Rios, Rios is over rated and Mitchell has a great chance to beat the *****!
Remember the Rios you seen last nights fight was weight drained and had not eaten for 4 and no water so what was he maybe 65% of his normal self and look what he did to Murray, so Rios fighting Kevin Mitchell and being 100% would really put the hurt on him and I doubt it would last as long.
I think Burns and Mitchell beat that Rios. But the Acosta/Antillon Rios gives both the 'adebisi' treatment
i can honestly say i did'nt see much differance in the rios who beat murray and the one he beat in his last fight, just plodding along a tad faster than murray throwing a few hooks and jabs
Mitchell gets banged up and stopped, much as Murray did. Of the three I'd say that Burns has the best style for dealing with what Rios brings, he's comfortable boxing off the back foot and can counter well on the inside. Plus he's got a better chin than both. Come forward fighters are meat and drink to Rios, Mitchell is always more comfortable leading than countering against good fighters, which would be to his detriment here.
