Estrada is jabbing over the bald spot of Mitchell, brushing his scalp. Mitchell is countering with hooks from a low squat. Estrada walks into a punch, a left hook and short right combo with their feet crossed as Mitchell turns him - Estrada down! Beats the count. Half the round left. Estrada is swinging his arms wide and slow as though standing neck-deep in an Olympic size pool full of molasses. Mitchell comes in for the kill, pecking with jabs and then flitting in with slapping hooks. Estrada counters with a high axing right and stuns Mitchell now, backing him off! Mitchell comes in and dusts Estrada's face with light bursts of fire about the face, blinding him and then ducking out before resetting.

Round 4

Estrada is dipping his face down, loading up on body shots but not getting them off as Mitchell puts a grenade in his maw with an uppercut and then shells him with a left hook for good measure, backing out of the pocket before Estrada even registers what has happened. Estrada is looking increasingly slow, not just of hand but in reaction time, his awareness very dulled. Stray jabs by Estrada, doing nothing. Mitchell pops in, gets off, ducks out. Very effective.

Yeah, this is the kind of performance that got people thinking he was a big talent in the first place.

Kind of forgot he could be this good when "on".

 

I wish they'd go to Estrada's corner between rounds, with audio and preferably a translator.

I'd love to be a fly on the turnbuckle to hear what Ignacio & Juan Manuel are saying to him.
