    That was stupid, why didn't he at least try to show the ref he's not seriously hurt, just laying there looked like he was out cold.

    Yeah. It was a case of Godoy riding the count too deep and the ref kind of taking matters into his own hand and deciding for Godoy that he was done.

    It was a big left hook on the button and the back of Godoy's head did slam hard into the mat, and he did stay down for more than half the count...but he shot to his feet and clearly wanted to continue.

    surprisingly, a typical british stoppage. don't even look at him or talk to him, just wave your arms as soon as he gets up.

    I'd say the KD was :scaredas:, the stoppage itself "meh".

    I don't hate the stoppage after seeing the slow-mo replays, but I don't love it.

    Maybe im old but is there anyway we can have a 10pm start for a main event in the UK.

    They are all about 12am its just too late for not a great card in the first place.

    Right? Any time during his actual count while Godoy was just lying there, eyes shut (probably debating internally whether he actually wanted to rise...which he ultimately did) it would've been totally acceptable to abandon the count and just wave it off. Why even let him go to all the bother of rising, though, just to wave in his face? It wasn't like his legs were gone when he stood up.
