Kevin Mitchell vs. Edison Torres

    After Johanesson chickened out of his almost certain KO loss to Kevin Mitchell. Kevin has to make do with a durable Venzuelan fighter who has had 78 fights 41-33-4 record.

    I hope that Mitchell can start fighting the best. I feel that he is ready now to make that step up, and at 23 he now has all of the experience at the lower levels to go on.

    Its a shame that Johanesson could not make the fight, as his name would have looked good on Mitchell's resume at this stage in his career.

    setanta have been promoting torres v mitchell for the british title.

    i think the presenter might have a shock in a hour when a venuzuelan flag comes in

    Mitchell looks huge compared to Torres...

    Mitchell finding the target with left hands early. Torres caught on the ropes. Torres wings away with wild punches.

    Mitchell commands centre of the ring, Torres seems happy with his back on the ropes. Mitchell hitting home with lots of lefts. Working the body also.Torres hitting thin air.

    Big left from Mitchell, Torres looks unsteady. Good jabs, Torres with wild swings, Mitchell evades easily.
