Kevin Mitchell vs. Felix Lora RBR

Round 2

Mitchell waves his fists around each other, and jabs into Lora's face. A quick hop outside by Lora to reset, and he's diving right back inside with his bag-of-flour-slinging overhands. Mitchell is feinting and twitching at mid-range, making Lora think twice about throwing for fear of being timed and countered. Mitchell blocks a jab on his left forearm but Lora drives through with a glancing right. BEAUTIFUL COUNTER LEFT HOOK KNOCKDOWN BY MITCHELL!! Lora was dumped on his butt and stayed there until Richie Davis got to a count of seven or so. Wild exchange after Lora rises. Mitchell eventually backs out and Lora hurls overhand rights at him, giving chase. Some wavy jabs up to the guard by Lora, and more of his clobbering overhand right. Mitchell is actually taking some! Lora gets him on the ropes and hammers away! Mitchell is just leaning back getting hit!

10-8 Mitchell

 

Round 3

Mitchell steps out, jabs, steps left - and repeats. Lora is just stumbling along after him throwing overhands and uppercuts with his right and flicking his left out just to scout Mitchell out for those wild looping rights. Mitchell dances around on the outside but is getting tagged by those looping shots. He just can't get his hands up or move his head in time. Only his legs are keeping him from getting hit with more than one at a time. Clinch. Lora whacks the body with his right. Double jab and overhand by Lora, with Mitchell hopping backward to get away. Nice slipping and jabbing by Mitchell now dancing away on his toes. Lora plods clumsily after him throwing sloppy rights and missing more now. Nice jabs and movement by Mitchell.

30-26 Mitchell

 

Round 4

Triple jab to the body by Lora and then a high sweeping right. Mitchell is backed up a bit. Now Mitchell steels himself and comes forward, slicing the air with a left hook as Lora barely dodges it backing straight up and then sticking a straight right to the body. Mitchell walks forward and lands jabs, leaning off to either side to make Lora miss his wild counters. BIG OVERHAND RIGHT by Lora, almost took Mitchell's head clean off but with its impact dulled as Mitchell snapped his spine like a whip to lean quickly back over the ropes. Several left jabs popped while circling close by Mitchell. Lora is backed nearly into a corner, both men rolling their fists around and watching each other warily.

40-35 Mitchell

 

Round 5

Lora is marching on after Mitchell and winging his rainbow rights, whipping them one after another as quickly as he can manage. Mitchell is backing up and making him miss and eat jabs. Uh-oh! Mitchell is caught off balance moving backward and stunned with one of those wild bombs. Mitchell down, slip. Lora connects with an almost straight right. Body shot now. Smacking right to the cheek by Lora. Mitchell is trying to shove him back and scrap up close but looks a bit winded and weak of arm. Lora is still wild and inaccurate but still looking strong. Rights to the back by Lora as Mitchell turns askew while backing up. Mitchell is put on the ropes and smacked with another right to the head. Mitchell tries to fight him off but can't get off the ropes. A bit of after the bell scrumming!!
