    I respect Burns massively for what he achieved , he's had a great career and he did the job against Mitchell impressively. But since the jaw break.... Burns has looked a shot fighter, a shadow of his former self, he seems scared to get hit... anyone with eyes can see that. Whereas Mitchell seems to have got his mojo back.. he's fighting regularly and looking really impressive. Right now Mitchell would school Burns,

    I would have thought Kevin Mitchell would be the bookie favourite if hypothetically they was fighting this month. Mitchell has looked very impressive in his last 2 fights whilst Burns has looked a shadow of his former self over the last year or so.

    I hope Kevin wins his world title in May, but from what I' burns still dominates sparring sessions between the two.
    Yes Kevin has looked good but remember he got a very hard time and IMO was losing against the kid at Wembley and Estrada was disappointing to say the least but Kevin done his job and gets the rewards so onwards and upwards.
    I hope Ricky does a number in Texas and sticks two fingers up to the doubters, even if Ricky never won a fight in his life again what he done was brilliant and nobody can take that away from him

    Ricky by KO again , sometimes certain fighters just have the beating of another and i think thats the case with ricky vs kevin

    I think Burns would win on points if the fight was to happen sometime soon. Although Mitchell could be more 'prepared' :thumbsup

    Exactly. They're moving in different directions these days: Burns is slipping faster and faster, while Mitchell looks like he has finally matured into the kind of boxer puncher we always wanted him to be. Mitchell to win, quite possibly by KO.

    I think I'd side with Mitchell now. He's bounced back, whereas Burns hasn't. Be an interesting fight for sure
