kevin mitchell would be world class if he worked with roach at young age!

U doubting Rios heavy hands?? Be for real man! A few glorified journeymen.. U gotta be joking! Acosta is a very quick and skilled boxer, not a bus driver. Put him against Mitchell to see where he stands in the division then let's talk. It's one thing doubting Rios or saying he's overrated but he got tested already and passed the test.

 

Roach is not a defensive Coach! Its easy to tell a guy to keep his hands up and thats all his did with Amir! He taught Amir to use the ring and line his self up to fire the combo then get out again! Roach is an offensive coach and it shows in Manny. If Kevin wanted to work on his defense he need to go with Emanuel. Offensive wise Mitchel is actually really good! His power is good and the way he fired his combo's were great. He does need to learn to use the ring a bit more! He reminded me a bit of Amir against Murray and no were near as fast but the combo's were there. I do think he would beat Kat in a re-match but not to sure if he is ready for a world title fight! I do think 135lbs maybe the wrong weight for him and a move to 140lbs may do his stability the world of good. But in a fight were is hard to look good against a brawler he actually looked good! Ask Khan, Judah and Alexnader what its like when you have some one in your face for 12 rounds.

Mitchell needs to work on defense, but there are many more trainers out there than Roach, esspecially when talking about defence ask Mayweather snr, **** of a man but would be able to improve Mitchell.......

Dont get me wrong Roach is a great coach but lets not foget he is working with exceptional talent in Pac and Khan, i dont think any trainer would mind working with them two fighters, 3 quarters of the fight is already won without throwing a punch.
