    How wrong that is :-(

The public wanna see a champion actually act like one and fight the best out there. Mitchell has little momentum leading upto the fight and it won't sell well.

Ricky isn't a massive seller and that's because the casuals have killed on board. The casual fan wants a 50/50 match up that's exciting and leaves you to second guess your opinion on how the fight will go. Burns will not lose to Mitchell therefore its not a fascinating fight.

Mitchell's rankings are artificial because imho Rees would school him let alone a tall, tangy fighter who will outbox Kevin.

Vasquez in Las Vegas would make Ricky a household name. Winning it puts him right in the mix for big fights, beating Mitchell means little to anybody outside of England.

Your ambitions will always be scuppered by Frank who wants everything in house.

If Rees was 3 inch or so taller then he'd be a force. Unfortunately he's so small that he struggles against tall fighters. Derry had the win on the cards had the fight carried on imho. Rees buy and sells any version of Mitchell.

Vasquez is the name at the weight. The family name and title bring a lot to the table and Frank should do his all to get it made.

Which points do you disagree with Ice?

    Cheers btw.

    No chance.

Rees was ahead on all three cards at the time of the stoppage and had him worked out.

Rees will win a rematch (July 7th I reckon) comfortably.

    Yep :good

Gotta say I thought you had weathered the early boxing well from Derry and was coming on far stronger than he was. Deffo had you ahead at the time of stoppage :good

I didn't mean Derry was winning on the cards at the stoppage time, I meant the win was on the cards.

Grant you seem to forget Rees blows like a ho after 7-8 rounds. He would of been comfortably out boxed had it continued. With little energy he wouldn't of been able to close the distance on Derry and work up close. Derry would of jabbed his way to a UD imho. Not trying to go against the grain or anythingbbut Rees is 100% beatable if you play his size and engine against him.

Here we go again - Derry Mathews getting overrated :patsch

The Crolla win was the best of his career - and well done to him but Rees will beat him with ease should they rematch (as would Crolla IMO).

    He's just far too vulnerable.
