Cheers pal. I fancied getting him out of there in the next couple (wally :tong).

He's shown no signs of tiring in his last couple, I hope his new conditioning team have had the desired effect, and I aint sure Derry would of seen 8. From memory, Rees was timing him a treat in the fourth.

    Not at all.

Derry might have a bone china chin but for boxing ability he is one of best in the country, he throws his punches with accuracy and snaps them well. He was boxing writers fighter of the year too. Hardly a bum.

Rees is a very good fighter but being so short poses a problem when fighting a tall tangy fighter. Rees would of lost that fight, I like Rees but he was losing that imho.

Derry gets stopped by Mitchell whom would lose to Rees. Derry simply is a bad fit for Rees, that's all I'm saying.

Kevin has accepted but hence my previous quote he hasn't been offered terms hence what can he do. My point again that allegedly doesn't want this fight to happen. And yes Kevin deserve 40/60 share. He just ko'd the number one lightweight in the country who was British and European champ. He is madertory and sells far more tickets than Ricky. But Kevin is prepared a willing to travel to Scotland and take this fight.

exactly what has kevin mitchell done to show he can beat burns? seriously..anyone?

what is john murrays best win?

  7. Have I just awoken from a coma and during my sleep Burns has morphed into Salvador Sanchez????

    Fast becoming incredibly over-rated.

a motivated Mitchell is a 50/50 against Burns.

then how come before the fight he said Burns was clearly the better boxer and that was BEFORE he fought him?

    Murray's best win was Buckland.

Mitchell's best win was Johanssen or Murray, one of those opponents beat Burns so that angle will be used. Mitchell carries no momentum following his win over Murray because he has been ****ing around. Rankings aside, this is a terrible fight for a World title as its more a British title level fight imo.

True that angle can be used but that was not the same Ricky Burns that lost to Johanneson, Rickys style back then was packed with flaws, Ricky has only improved, Mitchell has stagnated

That is the biggest load of ****. There was nothing wrong with him against Katsidis. It's just an alibi for how completely he got outclassed.
