Anyone know when his next fight is and who against?

I'm hoping the Arthur fight can come off pretty soon I think it would be a great fight.

I like Kevin, he's fun to watch and heres hoping he fights somebody half decent.

The winner of Arthur/Cook (Arthur) would be fantastic.

    Agreed.

He's my favourite domestic fighter at the moment (after Joe retires), he may or may not reach world level but he's great to watch and has a great personality to go with it.

Read recently that purse bids for Mitchell's next fight have been postponed - apparently he is undergoing treatment for damaged hand.

    Thats right.

It was a terrible scold that he suffered when the pie & mash he was eating suddenly exploded.

The molten filling of the pie caused a 3rd degree burn on the knuckle of the future pound for pound champion.

His father, Gary Kemp (of Spandau Ballet fame) saved him from near death after quickly pouring some tepid luke-warm watery London tea over the wound.

"I was lucky to be alive" he said afterwards from his hospital bed, before breaking out in song, singing 'Gold' in honour of his father.

his mandatory was this big ass african puncher who has a draw to Ali funeka the lightweight who annihlated zahir raheem in 4 rounds, my guess is if this fight was 2 ever take place mitchells boxing career would have been in serious jepody, the punshment dished by any big puncher against a fighter with such porous defence is unrepairable

Micthell is a true fighter - showed alot of bravery against Johannseberg

I want him to fight Arthur - and I will go for Micthell to pull off a bit of a upset TKO

Of course the fight I really want to see is against Khan

I'd go for Micthell again - late stoppage

I would back Mitchell to beat either Arthur or Khan.

Amir's speed would be an issue, but he certainly isn't a bigger puncher than Carl Johanneson, and although Kevin was on the brink he showed great heart to pull through.

Khan does get sloppy - if Mitchell can land a couple I see Khan making out with the canvas, and staying there this time.

I've said before, Mitchell/Khan and Mitchell/Arthur are virtual toss ups.

Except, Arthur is probably less of a toss up. I'd fancy Arthur, but not strongly.

    You said Toss twice.

If you said it three times you would have reviewed all three very accurately.

If you are not careful I'm gonna toss you on the heap with Crapfunds and Relentless.

He was quoted (in the Romford Recorder!) as saying that he wants Cassius Baloyi for the IBF too. Other than looking at Baloyi on boxrec I don't know anything about him. What do you think Mitchell's chances would be of getting the fight/winning it?

Also, with Pac, Guzman, JMM and possiby Valero moving up to lightweight and Gamboa moving down to featherweight is it now realistic for him to win and hold on to a world belt for a while?

Mitchell needs another 10 fights before he steps up to a decent level, he just is not that good.
