Aren't the Commonwealth title contests sometimes 10 rounds? Why is this one twelve?

    Round 10

Satchell is smacking out with long backhand jabs and clapping the body as Quaye moves in with reach-ups and clinch attempts diving in low. Satchell is permitting the embraces, waiting for referee assistance, content to just pump the jab once they reset on the outside and go fishing with the occasional long body shot. Quaye is jabbing, too short, no step-through, and tying up whenever he can after long periods of inactive circling with his arm dangling by his side.

    10-9 Satchell

    100-90 Satchell

This is so dull. Quaye has a good chin but is clearly just poor and Satchell hasn't got the power to get him out of there and is happy to stay at range and just box behind a jab.
Nothing wrong with that but this fight is just dull and one sided, and unless Quaye gets a baseball bat and perhaps a gun or a machete, then he's not going to hurt Satchell.

    Round 11

Satchell is jabbing and bunching his gloves up by his mouth, standing in closer with more frequency to really focus on putting body punches together in succession. Quaye darts in and out with jabs meant to penetrate the guard, but Satchell has it clamped together with nary a paper's width. A few Quaye jabs climb up and get Satchell on the bridge of the nose but only with Quaye exerting himself and leaving the canvas by an inch or so to do it. Satchell is flurrying off the jab and backing Quaye into corners at times, Quaye showing off slick bobs and bows, then immediately tying up instead of countering or feigning to get out.

    10-9 Satchell

    110-99 Satchell

All 12 rounders IB some of these new dangled wbo euro titles can be either 10 or 12 that's plain. Weird

    Round 12

Satchell is putting out the 1-2, repeatedly skirting over Quaye's downward-bent head with it. Quaye is rolling forward, gloves against his face, reaching into Satchell's belly with the jab but still with only grazing touches if any. Satchell is bouncing both his heels off the ground as he steps outside and then stands in place awaiting Quaye. Jabs by Satchell, lowering himself and turning side to side anticipating Quaye's next move, staying in a defensive rhythm although nothing is coming from Quaye. Right hand downstairs tried by Quaye, too short.

    10-9 Satchell

    120-108 Satchell

Quaye puts his hands up in his air and celebrates and the fans do the same, all of them muttering under their breathe "Thank **** that's done with."

That does it for me with this card, only cared about the last two matches.

I can't believe while Satchell vs. Quaye was on we missed the farewell bout of Zsolt Erdei. :wall

Mr Wa**en has done well to get Terry Flannigan, he's good and get a title or two, very neat little boxer who should dispose of the aggressive and brave Hungarian in about four rounds.
Again, in the weight class he's stuck in means he's in and around some decent European operators, if he wins this then let's see him against Dirty Derry Matthews.

Paul Butler up later. I like this kid, very talented boxer but is being matched well against South Americans, I hope he shines tonight. No need to rush him as he's in a very very tough division with fighters who are quicker and stronger, but in terms of boxing ability and ring IQ he always impresses me.
I think this is his first fight at Bantamweight, and the eventual plan is to throw him in against Stuart Hall (Makes sense as either way a ****** fighter will have a world title).
