Really impressed with this kid, first watched him against Martin Power early on in the year, followed up by a good performance against Paul Edwards and he looked improved on Saturday winning the British Title against Chris Edwards. Anyone else impressed with Satchell? Who would you like to see him fight next? Wilton or a rematch with Paul Edwards would be good, Bayaar too.
I thought he looked very good on Saturday, difficult division to progress in when there is only 6 fighters at the weight in the whole country. He is fighting Wilton in December on the price undercard it said in the Liverpool Echo. If he beats him and then defends one more time he has the belt to keep and could move up to european level possibly.
:happy Wilton is no push over, he's improved a fair bit since his early days as a pro. Good to see Kevin being kept active.
He looked decent, Good gameplan reminded me a little of Segura vs Calderon. Just use your strength and fight the smaller man. Obviously Edwards is no Calderon but the gameplan made sense. It's tough domestically at these weights, might be worth getting some top quality sparring and going over old ground and then going after European title. Looks a decent fighter. Got a bit to work on, but good win on Saturday.
