You can't call this a real titleshot. it's just a weak fight for someone like Ortiz. Wlad is WBA champ Chagaev is WBA paper champ Ortiz is WBA interim toiletpaper champ.
Ortiz decision, KJ will show flashes just like he usually does, but expect Ortiz to win almost every round.
How many chances are people gonna keep throwing at KJ before they realize he just doesn't have it. Guy shows up time after time and gives non-performances.
It was reported a couple of weeks ago Ortiz is going to fight Chagaev next. I don't want to see Johnson-Ortiz.
If Ortiz is just looking to stay busy with Johnson(if it happens) before a fight with Chagaev then an Ortiz-Johnson fight is fine. If Ortiz-Johnson is in place of a Chagaev fight then yeah noone wants to see that. And its not like Ortiz-Chagaev is some great fight but it is a lot more appealing than any Kevin Johnson fight. Johnson had a lot of talent and pretty much wasted it.
Kingpin was a good opponent but now he's just a gatekeeper. I thought with his jab he could of won some fights he lost...but not active enough.
