09/22/10 REST. Because I try to do my days like this: HARD easy HARD easy But the two days before I got a little carried away! 5 60yd dashes, 2 1/2 mile jog, 5 more 60 yard dashes, 3 roudns on the bag plus bench press. Then the day after I did 8 intense 2 minute rounds on the bag so i was chilling today.
After a hard weekend of work and partying..... 2 mile run (3 minute fast run, one minute jog etc) Followed by thirty minutes of letting my roomates throw punches at me (while I work on head movement) Followed by four rounds of shadow boxing (fast paced, 3 minutes on, thirty second rests).
ahhhhhhhhhhhhh lol, tomorrow will be hardish cuz i actually have boxing practice. today 6 rounds of sparring (fast fast paced)
Boxing practice where we did cardio then jump rope then 30 minutes of plyometrics, then we ran 1.5-2 miles then sparring (just left hands) and i focused on bobbing weaving and pivoting.
ok last week was long as hell and i dont remember everything. So I rested friday and saturday. Today I ran 2 miles, jogged two miles and ended with sprints.
6 two minute rounds - bag 1st jabs, 2nd lefts, 3rd and 4th right, 5th and 6th combos 2 mile run / interval 2 minutes fast run, one minute walk.
Yesterday, an hour of practicing combos. Then an hour of plyos. I rested today. Partially because I was lazy, partially because I feel like I earned it. And partially because I picked up a 12 pack of steel reserve!
Yesterday: 2 mile jog/run. 2 miles of sprints, 2 min sprint 1 min walk repeat. today, 2 mile run. 8 rounds on bag, 2 round jab, 2 round strait eifhr, 4 rounds all out
Boxing practice plus random, untimed rounds of sparring with just lefts, lefts and rights, and me working on defense and head movement.
The running and the boxing work looks good. don't you do much strength training tho no? no circuits either? Pull ups/push ups/burpees etc could all be good for your boxing, and barbell/dumbell complexes are good too, if you don't want to train with weights much.
