Gatti...he was never going to beat Mayweather (or even Hatton) but under McGrit he had a impressive turn around.

Miguel Cotto...supposively shot and exposed by Margarito. Surprised how little credit Pac got for beating him and how many on these forums picked Foreman to beat him.

though he never became EXACTLY what he was before, roberto duran. to think that he won a middleweight title after the lows of the hearns fight is incredible

wlad is the best recent example for me. i was a fan since mercer and after sanders, then brewster he was written off by everyone. now he's the legitimate champ and in discussions of the top 15 best heavies ever. for a guy known for folding like an acordian, that's impressive

Yeh they were proberbly the 2 hardest desperate years for me as a Duran disciple:-( but you must have belief as they say or dream:lol:

When i saw him beat Cuevas on "world of sport" one saturday i could never ever in 1 MILLION years imagine that it would be the start of another glorious chapter in his incredible career & on too demolish Davey Moore & then being the only one with the balls to go in with the Mighty Marvin Hagler:yep
