    Carl Froch:

    - Froch is an great combination boxer, he comes in from awkward angles, which is hard to defend against. He has to throw a lot of combinations and stay Busy.
    - Carl also has a underrated jab, it's a bit slow and it opens him up for counter. That's why he has to double the jab, which pushes Bute back.
    - With that said. Froch has a very lazy work rate, and we saw that against Ward. He throws one lazy jab, and then Ward countered him. His work rate gotta be like the one we saw against Abraham, Pascal and the ending of Taylor & Johnson fight.
    - Besides he is very awkward and box without any rhythm, therefore has to walk Bute down and break his rhythm.

    Lucian Bute:
    - Gotta win the battle of jabs like he did v Johnson.
    - Use his speed. Bute is no Ward, but he is very fast, and that speed could determine the outcome.
    - Froch can get sloppy and very open to counters, specially that Jab. I could see Bute counter him a lot and even stop him by a brutal levershot.
    - Bute doesn't have the same inside game against Ward, but he knows how to punch on the inside, we saw that when he knocked down Andrade for the first time in their rematch also against Johnson. Ward exposed Froch to be very open on the inside, and Bute has a tricky little right hook.
    - Be slick, Bute has good movement and that could trouble Froch.

What do you think? Boy i can't wait for this fight :bbb

You know the answer to your own question.

But i have no insight on this fight. I just think it is a guaranteed win for Bute. Froch is a great fighter but will get beat pretty handily imo.

    We shall see

Froch needs to make Bute work to establish the range at which he's comfortable throwing the left hand. Of course Froch's jab will be key, but that right hand needs to follow in anticipation that Bute would move to Froch's right countering with the left. Even if he hits leather, combos will pump the crowd up and might influence the judges. Even better if 1 or several shots land upstairs while he tries staying busy.

Bute needs to work around Froch's jab. That stay-away-*****-right-hook might be a plus in trying to make Froch switch to brawl mode, in which case Froch could think all-out offense... and get tagged a lot. As long as Bute moves his head around Froch's long jab, he can anticipate right hands and work the body with his left. A lot of bodywork could slow Froch down in terms of workrate, but not in terms of pressure -- that's where Bute must manage his own stamina and throw power lefts efficiently so to not slow down in the late rounds, where Froch is a dangerous animal.

I think it would be easier, from a trainer's standpoint, to establish a very viable winning gameplan for Bute than it would be in Froch's case. But hey, you never know.
