Ok, just saw this little tidbit on Fight News, and I am sure by now that Oscar and Schaefer and Joel de la Hoya and a number of other advisors, have probably already contacted Bob Arum's reps about this Megafight. Chavez Sr. and Jr. want it bad, and any and all Mexicans would buy this, a great fight for late May. As far as Oscar has slipped, this is a natural at this point. Oscar, is old, mega-experienced and still dangerous. Julio Jr. is young, and untested and as dangerous as a Puff Adder in your sleeping bag. There is a natural rivalry/Grudge Match going here, and a natural Storyline for the Press and HBO24/7. I cannot wait to start debating with the many, many Oscarsexuals, who are ready to put down Jr. because he strruggled with Vanda, and these are the same Homosapiens, who wont want to discuss the Forbes Fiasco. Here are some keys to Victory for Jr. and to any of my Hatas out there, or the doubters, when you are finished bowing down to me, for outpredicting your sorry asses for the DLH-Tattoo Freak Match on December 6th, you can babble on all you want.

    1. INSIST the fight be at Aztec Stadium. This will be huge, if Jr. and Arum can get this signed in Mexico. I DOUBT that many Los Angelinos will make the trip at this point, if they want to worship Oscar, all they have to do is take candles to the Staples Center. So it will be 150,000 Mexicans screaming for Golden Blood. Booing, and hissing at Oscar. The Atmosphere will be incredible.

    2. DEFENSE WINS. Julio needs to tighten up his defense even more than he did for the Vanda Rematch. He looked amazing, and didnt take so many punches and he needs to continue this trend. Block, dodge, parry, head movement, counter and slip. He needs a Jesus Rivero, or someone who knows defense well.

    3. MOVEMENT/Conditioning. He needs to utilize the entire ring, and not stand in front of Oscar. Oscar cannot move the way he did in 1999. He needs to move away from the left hook, all night long. He needs to run in the High Altitude mountains of Mexico and come in on Fightnight at a ripped 152. He needs to be prepared to fight 12, hard.

    4. NEUTRALIZE THE JAB..........Without the jab, Oscar is as useless as a castrated man in the Playboy Mansion's Grotto, with a naked Paris Hilton and Christina Aguilera wanting to get ****ed at the same time. Movement, distance and timing will do this.

    5. Bodyshots. Julio has a money shot left hook to the ribs that kills. He needs to work on landing that, and getting out of the way.

Comments, welcome. Especially from my Hatas!

Your hate for Oscar blinds you, fact is Jr doesn't have enough skills to take this one. This fight shouldn't happen, Jr. just isn't ready for this kind of opponent at least not yet. He hasn't fought anyone of the level of a shot Oscar and he isn't talented to rely on atheletic ability. The dude is still green and he won't make it past 6. I been watching Jr. for sometime hoping to see him shine, but point blank it still hasn't happen. Any kind of pressure nerves him and he loses composure.

In the off chance you see something in him that I am missing please tell, because I just don't see it. He doesn't throw fast or hard punches, he doesn't have knock out power, his ring generalship is lacking and he is there to be hit. This guy is still young and they been overly protective and you think he can beat shot Oscar, please.

Picking on a smaller elite fighter was a bad move, picking on a bigger b/c- talented fighter is also a bad move.

Why do you talk so much about Oscar when you hate him so much?
You probably gonna cry when he retires.

Has anyone seen any of JCC Jr's fight, because if you have you probably wouldn't be saying he will KO Oscar. The most exciting aspect of this fight will be the **** being thrown at Oscar ~_~.

DLH was ordinary looking against Forbes and terrible versus Pacquiao. (he reminded me of Ali against Holmes). I say that a young Chavez outlasts and out works an old Oscar.

"Keys to a JCCJr. victory" by Bob Arum:

#1: Wait until DLH gets extremely shot, unable to pull the trigger, amazingly slow
#2: Be sure the left shoulder injury is still killing him, taking away the jab from his arsenal
#3: Pray like a lunatic that the PacMan loss took away DLH's fighting spirit
#4: Get the judges of the first Carlos Molina fight
#5: Make this fight look like an impossible task for Jr. vs. the great, prime DLH, maybe Oscar himself will believe it's a mismatch

JCC Jr. has the tools to beat Oscar, but I dont think he can. He is no where near the fighter his father was at least not yet. Sure he might land some shots and he may even be able to take what Oscar can throw at this point in his career, but as far as winning goes I just dont think JCC Jr. has the skill or experience to defeat a veteran the caliber of Oscar. Name me one quality fighter JCC Jr. has beaten. This is simply another Steve Forbes fight to get Oscars spirits up again. I wont say Oscar is the favorite by any huge margin, but my gut tells me the kid is gonna come up short and win maybe 3 or 4 rounds at the most.
