    So Dana just letting walk away the biggest PPV star in the business after they made an agreement?

    In this case Canelo doesn’t have to do his 11 fights with DAZN.

    Yes he is contractually held to that promoter but that doesnt mean he cant retire after a few fights if he wanted to, likewise if he has a career ending injury you think they would force him out to fight, it doesnt work like that.

    He must complete the contract if he wants to go with another promoter. He can retire from fighting tomorrow if he wants to.

    It’s the fight game. If he retired there’s no court in the land that would make him get into the cage and fight against his will to fulfill a contractual obligation.

    I imagine he’s got a 6 fight deal if he wishes to fight 6 times. The payout is likely structured: X amount guaranteed, X amount per fight, X if you fight complete the deal.
