Kell made it personal with racially charged outbursts, and personal attacks referencing the webcam incident and how they slept in the same room. It was obviously much more personal for Kell than it was for Khan. And it was a huge motivating factor for him.

So yeah, they both were stuck in a trash talk loop, but all things considered, Kell talked far more "trash talk" than Khan did, yet Wizzy disputed that idea. It was far more personal for Kell, he was far more cringy in his "trash talk". Khan kept it respectful for the most part, Brook crossed the line more in the buildup and got really personal and vengeful. Now Wiz makes some fair points about things Khan said about Brook in the past, acting like Brook wasn't on his level and all that, but as far as who said more about what they were gonna do to one another, Kell went into great detail about that, and took personal shots at Khan. Khan always kept it professional and respectful, because he's more of a gentleman and a class act than Brook.

And, you know, someone asked why most of the fans were cheering Khan and booing Brook in the arena, well that's a lot of the reason why.

 

He shouldn't have took the fight as he must have noticed how shot he was in camp. He must have needed 6-9 months to get back to world class condition after years off.

Now even his own countrymen are gonna be calling him poppadom chin for the rest of his life.

So it's not that Khan is more popular with the British public, it's because certain "ethnic groups" are bigger and more inclined to be Khan fans. Got it, sounds like more excuses as to why Khan is more popular than Brook in Britain rather than dealing with the real reasons why.

It's no bad thing but definitely true

 

I mean there's probably some truth to what you're saying, but it's only a part of it. Khan is more likeable as a person. He's more charismatic, he's got a better attitude, he also has given the fans more thrills than Brook, and been in more exciting fights. Fans like him more in Britian largely because they identify with him more, not just ethnically but in terms of his character and how fan friendly he is. Brook has a certain bitterness to him that surely turns a lot of British fans off.

He is definitely more box office than Brook for a number of reasons but you are way off track with how he is perceived in the UK

 

Also, Manchester is pretty much on the doorstep of his home town and Kell's from across the Pennines. I would think British sport casuals also favoured Khan - on the basis they'd heard of him - and outnumbered British boxing fans who I reckon were, in the main, pulling for Brook...

 

Look at comedian Paul Chowdhurys insta last night, he joked about how many Asians turned for Khan last night

So because you live in the UK, you have a monopoly on opinions as it relates to this? GTFOH man, I am in a position to state anything in contrast to you, but of course I will listen to what you have to say since you live there and evaluate it appropriately.

How you interpret how he is perceived in the UK is like your opinion, man. You might see it differently than I do, but you're still subject to whatever bias you have from whatever bubble you're in.
