That's a false equivalence on one of your comparisons. Hatton v Witter is fair enough as they were active at the same time. I disagree regarding Joe and Carl though as Carl was was only British Champ and Joe was finishing his last fights at Light Heavy. Now Froch cries about it and has always been bitter but the fact remains that Joe was cashing out at that point. and had no reason to to go back down to Supper Middle to fight a domestic Champ.

 

The only things in an NDA could be PPV split, guaranteed purses and maybe a rehydration clause.

It's just business and the A-side has all the leverage.

On fight night, according to Ingle, Khan was 157lbs (didnt look it tbh....) and Brook was 162lbs (looked to have more than 5lb over Khan if I am honest).

 

Witter never proved he was in Brook or Hatton`s class, Froch wasn`t rated that high when Calzaghe was champ.

September 2006 finally saw Witter win a world title when he challenged American Demarcus Corley for the vacant WBC light welterweight belt at the Alexandra Palace in Wood Green. Hmmmm Firstly I never said when they should have fought eapecially the timeframe you suggested. I clearly said that they fought at the same time. If were looking at viable timeframes it would have been years earlier when Witter was calling Hatton out. The thing is although they were contempories starting at roughly the same time. Ricky always had the far bigger following being down to earth and having a more fan friendly style than Witter. So I was merely throwing the Op a bone by using it as a comparable. I'm not sure how you got that I meant 2008 specifically when I never mentioned a specific I was thinking more '99 onwards.

 

Witter was a world champ at the same weight, at the same time.

Brook and Khan operated at 2 different weights and were world champs at different times.

With both it was the A-side not wanted to give the B-side rival any acknowledgement as they didn't sell enough tickets. From a business standpoint it makes sense.

 

I used to think like you that TF was the victim and was just "being real" whereas AJ was being fake.

AJ apparently did a twitter DM which was removed etc so even if true, he took back those words as he obviously felt they were wrong or would be bad for business.

TF has said similar all his career. His race is Gypsy and he harps on about it till the cows come home, how they are the "superior fighting men" etc and have been doing so for hundred years (which got DW reacting till this day)...his race is his Alias for gods sake.

He has videos saying the "N" word and called AJ an Uncle Tom, but then complains when there is a backlash and plays victim. You go into work tomorrow and say those words and see the reaction.

Say jews are evil or that homosexuals should die and be ready for a reaction. TF complains that he gets one. If somebody went at Gypsys like he did he wouldn't be happy.

TF used to always "be real" and state his opinion about everyone in the world and then got confused when they didn't like it. Until his comeback, where he started being savvy (fake) and not doing it as much. Now who is the fake. AJ has been consistent.

Time shows the truth and AJ is consistently a decent guy, I used to think he was a fake.
TF not so much, he's crass at best.
