Obviously would do well as he's already so highly ranked there :deal

In fairness, 147 isn't anywhere near as dangerous as what it used to be.

It's not like you've got a DLH or a Mosley at the top, with the likes of Margarito, Cotto and Williams in the mix.

The fact that Victor Ortiz is still even mentioned is a sad fact about the division at present, likewise Guerrero getting the fight with Floyd.

How come Khan never talks about facing Pac?

I could see him getting the Floyd fight so it will happen unless he gets another fight at LW against the champions but he will end up getting KTFO.

I see a move to 147 next for sure, wonder who it will be, someone ranked in the 10-20s feather fisted so Khan can get the win and they can make the Floyd fight.

Say what you want about Amir Khan but he is by far Britain's most popular fighter

If Floyd wants UK PPV then he will fight Khan and say what you want about the fight, It will sell!
More PPV sales through Mayweather-Khan than Mayweather-Alvarez in my opinion.

and in my opinion, He would give Floyd a decent fight...Better than some of Floyd's recent opponents.

Amir Khan would go two ways... Knock Floyd Mayweather out or get knocked out.
He won't turn up trying to survive for 12 rounds and lose a wide UD

He will go 2 ways, he will either get knocked out, or get schooled over 12 long, hard painful rounds.

It might but Amir would't shut up shop and just take punishment.

It wouldn't be a dull fight, It would be an exciting fight and that's all boxing fans want.

It'll become worse for him. His worst habit is not being able to carry and see other fighters punches. It's like he thinks the other guy is armless, that's how much he disregards the other opponents punches. That's not something easily fixable though, you need to have a very very patient mind and without sounding like he should be some Matrix ****er, he should be able to slow things down in his head and see what is to be expected by the other fighter. Going up in weight won't help besides possibly making him more resilient, but that won't make up for consistently getting hammered to the point where he's stopped or hurt again.

I like Khan have followed his career and seen every single fight of his, but we got to get real, Floyd will land that right hand on Khan's chin, hard and often. People don't seem to realize, Floyd doesn't knock people out but he's a sharp, accurate and crisp puncher, and will have no problem finding Khan. Khan seriously is lacking in technique and is easy to find. Khan has speed but he doesn't have great technique offensively or defensively.

It won't even be close. I can actually see Khan getting stopped late, because the gulf in class is enormous and Khan's chin will not hold out from those crispy right hands.

He needs to really show something in his next couple of fights to even start being talked about as a possible opponent for Floyd. Really needs to tighten up, learn to move his head, stop leaving his chin hanging out after throwing combinations, he seems to stay there and gets countered by guys who are suppose to be worse than him, what will a great counter puncher like Floyd do? Floyd doesn't have to worry about what is coming back, because Khan doesn't fight smart, cannot set traps, and is not that accurate when he throws combinations, Floyd will time him to the punch every time and catch him hard. I really doubt Khan can stand up to those shots.

All khan has in his favour is height, speed and a good work rate. But his disadvantages far outweigh the positives. Easy win for Floyd, on points or mid-late stoppage.

In all honesty a weight problem for Khan isnt out of the realms of possibility, no idea how he ever made 135lbs and 140lbs is only 5lbs up from that. He has been looking a lot bigger recently, im not sure how successful he will be at 147lbs but that may be the only avenue available as to increase the length of his career.

    What's his weight around generally?
Would he carry the speed at 147? It's quite obvious that his 147 plan is to meet mayweather and retire. The Garcia and Peterson really ****ed that plan up..
