As long as Khan doesn't act stupid in the ring - he should coast 8-4 or 9-3, but knowing Khan, he will try and be macho man in there at some point, and in doing so, Danny will land a lucky left hook.

Yup. . . Khan was going to give Bradley, and Peterson 50/50 of that phat UK money. . But Bradley bitched, and Peterson was a ****ing PED-HEAD.

Everybody has a chance, look at Amir Khan when he got brutally got ktfo by a class b/c fighter in the very first round, he still managed to get himself back together and make a 2nd comeback :deal

In other words: a Saturday night fight on HBO pays better than headlining a UFC PPV.

:nono If he was CONFIDENT in himself of winning. . He'd be 6-7 million richer :good

Actually about 8-9, cause he'd have got a better percentage cut of the Pac fight from the added exposure, and name value. . Subsequently, not only increasing his cut, but also the overall PPV sales of the fight. . .

Bradley wasn't confident of winning, so he bitched. . .

Thats a pretty good chunck of change for Danny. The one thing about Golden Boy that I like is that they aren't afraid to match a lot of their starts together. I.e. there's no signing a guy like Rigo and then putting him in the closet instead of matching him up against a guy like Donaire.

Khan is most likely a 1099'd independent contractor. In this case the sum will be paid to Khan, the contractor, who will then pay the trainer, training expenses, and other fight related expenses. The remaining funds he will pay to Khan, the person, leaving the contractor with no earnings.

That way he can pay personal income tax of 32% rather than corporate earnings of 50%. This is why half of all corporations pay no taxes. It would de dumb for a barber, fighter, or hot dog vendor to give Uncle Sam an extra 18% (plus, a huge corporation like Walmart is still just one corporation).
