He said he made weight too early in camp and done different things in this camp compared to his last 2 camps..

This is clear to see Khan looked slower lacked power and was looking gassed at times..

If Khan gets Floyd he can't make this mistakes again, Tony needs to take note..

Admits? More like an excuse for a dissapointing effort if you ask me.
His trainer saying he would need to pull a Douglas against Floyd if they meet, says a lot about the actual gap in class. Nothing to do with overtraining.

How brave of him to 'admit' something that takes the shine off Algieri's spirited performance whilst giving Khan an excuse for not doing better.

If he overtrained and felt so slow then why was he promising 'fireworks' in the build up?

Darni, you are OK mate but that is just shameless and embarrassing.

Khan blew it, Khan chose Algieri, Khan knew he had to perform and he didn't, infact Algieri came out with more credit for actually making the fight while Khan spent most of the night getting walked down and hurt by a non punching LWW.

Khan should not be getting Mayweather and after Friday night I don't think he will ever get a Mayweather fight. All this Mayweather talk should be over in my opinion.

Making excuses for a fight he chose, he wanted and he had a long camp for is just funny, Khan is a real joke at this moment in time.

I think this average performance has improved his chances of a Floyd fight, Floyd will think easy pickings..

I knew something was not about Khan in the fight.. There was a big difference in speed from the Alexander fight..

I mean you try new things in camp some work some doesn't.. Main thing is Khan got the win..thats 5 wins in a row now..

    Oh God with the excuses.

  11. Danny Garcia also has 5 wins in a row.
Keith Thurman has 5 wins in a row.
Broner has 3 wins in a row.
Far more deserving fighters out there than big mouth Khan.

See my problem with all his is Khan chose this, turned down Brook, Bradley and apparently other fights to look good.

He didn't look good, he made hard work of it, was hurt, was walked down and now he is blaming Hunter, over training and is looking to take no responsibility.

I think this does not help him at all getting a Mayweather fight, the negative reaction on social media to Khan and the boxing fans reactions will not go ignored.
The fact they are giving away tickets for Khan fights will not be ignored.

And the most important fact for me is this, Mayweather is signed to Showtime for one last fight, they turned this down, now if there was any chance of Khan fighting Mayweather surely they would have took this and tried to build it, they didn't want anything to do with it and it was shown on Spike TV.

Mayweather is about money, not so much about ease, Garcia fits the bill, unbeaten, young, has cleaned up at LWW. will be easy to outbox, Angel Garcia is value and will sell it.

Khan must be way down the list now.
