After Khan is done with Mayweather I want to see him fight Cotto. That fight has fireworks written all over it.

    A. Where is the source?
    B. After taking on Maidana, he's pretty much set to take on anybody.
    C. But he's STILL lightyears away from being of the caliber for such a fight.

    A. It's reported on the Scene of Boxing - the site which recycles news reports and articles from other places. ****, they even report Tweets . This time round they've taken it from the Daily Mail.

    B. Take on, yes. Beat, no. The Khan that fought Maidana would lose to Bradley.

    C. Too true.

Khan needs to remember that he just went life and death against Maidana. Not only did he almost get KTFO, but the fight was also extremely close on the cards.

I really don't understand how Khan or anyone else can believe he even has a shot vs Mayweather. Floyd is just so much more complete and well-rounded than he is. Mayweather would land on him at will, walk him down, dominate him, and win with ease. It would be a crushing, crushing defeat for Amir.

But does that mean he shouldn't fight him? It's that kind of attitude which stops exciting match ups being made. It is refreshing to see the take on all comers attitude from Khan, especially with what is going on in the heavyweight division.

  10. I think can at one point will be able to make this fight very close, it will have to be khan reaching his peak floyd on the decline. Best possible time would be march 2012 or something.
Mayweather isnt a big puncher at 147 nor is he a pressure fighter. Khan has speed height and has that ambush style that make it difficult for counterpunchers to go against. Thats why I favour him over marquez as well right now. Currently he has s many holes in his defence, open for uppercut not so well inside etc. so therefore if they fought now i would pick floyd but he has the potential to eventually give may troubles. I would definitely want to see this fight early 2012.

Khan would get absolutely raped at 154 by almost anybody. Williams, martinez, angulo, cintron, and cotto would all murder him.

Khan has far too much to take care of at 140 before even considering 147. Maidana needs a rematch, and Ortiz, Bradley, and Alexander are all huge fights that Khan should be looking at.

He shouldn't be going to welterweight for at least a year, possibly 2.

Some of the quotes attributed to khan at times are borderline delusional, i know he has dreams but he is way too sloppy to follow through on that at the moment
