They are both fouls. No such thing as "lesser" when it comes to this.

Ok well I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are not from Britain and didn't know about Khan until he came to the U.S as obviously you would know the first part. You will have to google the terms as I cannot post links for another 50 days

If you lookup Khans record on either boxrec or wikipedia you will notice he never competed for the British belt, at all. Which in this country is standard procedure for all fighters. This was because of a certain gentlemen called Jon Thaxton, and old guy who wasn't very good but happened to be able to punch. At the time Khan was slaughtered by fans and press for basically ducking everyone at British level.

If you google haroon khan "british title" bolton news, his brother actually talks about this too and states he will not be doing this. You can google Jon Thaxton Khan and find the rest too.

Khan instead jumped to what he thought was a weak link in a guy called Willie Limond, the Euro champion, but sadly although he won he was embarrassingly knocked down by a guy who makes Malinaggi look like Matthyse. They then avoided anyone who could punch but once again he was dropped by Gomez. Khan claimed it was just luck... next fight he gets knocked out within a minute of the first round by Prescott. After these fiasco's it was decided it was too dangerous and he never again fought for commonwealth, british or european titles. All that can be proven by boxrec.

As for the Maidana. He was the interim champion of the WBA. He was supposed to fight Kotelnik but lost out to Khan but was told he would get his shot at Khan straight away. Khan instead fought other people. Maidana made some noise about this, threatening the WBA. They ordered the fight , you can google 'Khan Ordered To Defend Title Against Maidana' from Jan 2010. You will find multiple sources, from Schaeffer himself to others. This was almost a year before they finally did meet. Golden boy then stepped in and offered (or his manager anyway) a lucrative deal where he would not fight Khan until his 3rd fight of the deal. This was done by Maidanas manager not him. You can google 'Maidana back injury' to read about that crap

1 year later, still no sign of Maidana being given his shot. So he writes his letter to the WBA, you can read this letter by google 'maidana letter to the wba'

Faced with losing his belt and nowhere to turn Khan has to take the fight

Fast forward 3 years and the Khan fans are all 'Khan fights anyone, he went after Maidana!'

Case closed. You are found guilty of being a Khan fan talking S

No I think you are found Guilty of making of some revisionist History. Thaxton vs Khan here.

Khan fought the number one guy in Britain Graham Earl, who was coming of an exciting defeat to Katsidis.

Maidana was interim Champion, but Dmitry Salita was Mandatory, Khan defended against Salita, fought Malignaggi and then fought Maidana.....No ducking there/

Your post looks more of a propaganda piece......Lets stick to Facts.

Not sure why a fight between someone from Bolton, England and St. Louis wouldn't draw in Brooklyn lol.

IF Khan and Hunter don't think they are ready for Alexander yet then just fcking retire... Khan is 26 and his style doesn't get better with age. This is an amazing opportunity... crazy to turn it down.. would have expected Alexander to be the one to turn it down...

Alexander is a heavily protected fighter I don't blame ANYONE not wanting to fight him even if you beat him they'll give him the decision and he's allowed to hug or do whatever he likes because he's " A good american poor kid from a poor background story " the American media loves.

I'm surprised they didn't try and give him the win over Bradley by DQ.

The worst one was when he was totally dominated and comfortably beaten without shadow of a doubt by kotelnik and they still gave it to alexander guys more protected than the president.

So if khan doesn't fight him he gets a pass because Alexander is protected in america he is like the 2010's sven ottke.

This is all correct, not many people outside the UK realise just how protected Khan was before his move to the states. Khan even said himself that he looked at Kotelnik as one of the weakest world champions in the run up to his title challenge. Of course now he has a rep for "fighting anyone" but's that mostly because his hand was forced with Madaina.

People do know about khan being protected all our fighters get protected thats why we don't produce many greats.

My point is that fighting alexander in his backyard you need a ko to win as no way you'll get a decision against him unless you are totally dominant round 1-12.

If I were a fighter I wouldn't want to fight alexander in the states even if i were 100% confident I'd beat him I could win 8 rounds to 4 or 9 to 3 and get robbed or get hugged all night.

OK, riddle me this. How is Khan going to fight PBF without a title? It's just not happening. Geezer is really starting to **** me off. He needs to move to the US and commit or leave boxing.

Alexander would take Khan out at 147 pretty easily I'd say. But Khan has to view it as a winnable fight if they do indeed plan to move up to 147, which they have said they will do. Khan is paid and draws enough that he should be expected to fight a top 10 guy at WW after his catch weight tune up.

I can see why Khan wouldn't want it long term. But he always talks about achieving glory and retiring young. Taking the Alexander fight is the avenue to being able to achieve both of those.
