"Yeah, yeah here he goes again" some of you are thinking (you know who you are...), but I couldn't help it: Kessler wins a fairly wide decision (unless you are British and score all close rounds to your compratribuddy or are Al Bernstein and can't tell the difference between a hit and a miss) over Froch, who was previeously undefeated and had beaten a load of tough opponents and what do people say: He's past his best, shot, in decline. Khan barely beats a guy who already had a loss (in his first big fight) to a guy who Khan had already beaten soundly, and who had recently struggled to beat a guy with 13 losses on his record, and is close to being KTFO several times. What do people say? Khan is so great, what a tough guy, the next legend, my girlfriend wants 10000 of his babies etc. Sheesh.
Kessler won a close but clear decision over froch at the end of his carreer, while amir is at the beginning and survived a great fight against the one of the most dangerous opponents stylistically, No need to discredit him, both were two of 2010 best fights and two great wins for both guys.
Kessler 114-113. Khan 115-110. So much for your 'wide' decision for Kessler and Khan 'barely' beating Maidana.
