Dont know if this has been confirmed anywhere so sorry if it's old. It's just been on sky sports news that fight will take place in December and is 99% sure that it will be in the UK
Good. As i've said from the get go and in every Khan v. Maidana thread. Amir peppers, resets, circles and gets his Winky earmuffs on for a UD, shutout or even a stoppage at anytime in the fight. That plodder Maidana doesn't vary the speed of his punches, is predictable, looks as confused as a woodpecker in a concrete forest when he sees a jab and is a sucker for a conventional one fellowed by a straight right. I predict Amir has his way with this overrated crude slugger and brings home the bacon (or lamb) in which ever way he wants, but will choose the path to least resistants. Punchers chance for Carlos is about it. Let's hope this news is legit though as it will free some people up and have a domino effect at 140, in terms of match ups being made and people committing.
Great. Glad it's all been sorted now, although I thought it would be in the US. Any ideas what the timing of the fight is gonna be. Will it cater to HBO/ the American audience or is it going to be on prime time in the UK?
Yeah, that's what I'm expecting tbh. It would be nice if we could get it on at a reasonable time over here though. Just once.:verysad
Apparently its gonna be in Bolton. Khan and Warren going head to head. How about split PPV with Warren doing 6-12pm then the Khan fight at 2am for US TV.
looking forward to this fight however how well do you think it will do with the general public? im not so sure it will catch on maidana's not a name and he's lost to someone Khan already beat
Although I believe it will be completed soon, I wouldn't jump the gun just yet Team Khan are saying its done, but personally I won't beileive it until I hear something from GBP
