Nice. It looks like a trip to the M.E.N is in order if this comes off!! I see Khan on points but Murray is 1 tough *******.

Murray is going to get brutalised like Margarito did against Pac.

Murray seems to have a good engine and is tough, but the way he applies his pressure is pretty basic, and he's not got a World Class dig on him.

Fairly safe fight for Amir IMO, Murray will have seen nthing likehim before and will get flurried to a stoppage between 8-10. It's all about levels.

Murray would struggle to get inside of Khan. Khan would pepper him with the jab for a while. I think it'd be a good show. Khan would stand there at times aswell.

He did it quite a few times against Maidana, shockingly. Murray can take a decent punch from what it seems and Khan isn't the biggest puncher out there.

Good fight, but not hugely beneficial when going into a Bradley fight.

Agreed, but its another fight for Khan to look good in, against an aggressive come forward puncher.

Good fight hope this does come off. Should have happened years ago for the British title before Khan picked up an alphabelt. It was the perfect fight then but Frank Warren wanted no part of it, ironically he now wants a part of John Murray.

Still should be a good one although Khan will be a pretty big favourite now.

Well the title is misleading. Reading the article, they aren't that close to get this fight signed. Murray's name has merely been 'added to the list.'

I don't think he'd struggle that much. His jab isn't all that good, and every time Khan finishes combinations he is off-balanced and inside punching range. Murray just isn't that educated a pressure fighter nor that big a puncher. He hasn't fight at this level before, and even though he'll give it his all I think he'll struggle to make it competitive. I imagine Amir will move, pepper, move pepper, and block whenever he moves too near the ropes and Murray catches up to him, flurrying and turning him and peppering him again.

Murray will be outclassed and probably marked up as the rounds go on and I think he'll get pulled out by either the ref or his team.

I'd be a neutral in this fight. Amir has the fighting heart but his skillset (or application of it) did not impress me in the Maidana fight. Khan is a very one dimensional fghter, and still vulnerable.

Murray always comes to fight and is strong as a bull, but still somewhat of an unknown quantity in terms of his 'level'. He could well 'get up' for this fight and put it all together. I don't think he would but if he manages to do it he deserves massive kudos. At the same time, I would not be surprised if he suffered a more prolonged Salita-style whupping over two or three rounds, he isn't exactly prepared to be making a step up like this.

Also, Lamont Peterson, apart from being black ad American, isn't exactly stylistically similar to Tim Bradley anyway.

MEN would be a bit of a warzone if these two met.
