U gotta be kidding me. The fight just proved to me what a hype job he is.
The line was +330 on Maidana. Yet it was more like +150. That is about the right percentage of hype on this guy. Not much power, horrible defense and chin. If not for Joe Cortez and allowing the holding and grabbing he was done. Very unimpressive performance.

It was entertaining as hell if you were rooting for Khan. One good shot could have been the end of it.

He won, plenty of people said one flush Maidana shot and it was over, Bradley is a featherfisted midget, if anyone is overhyped its Tim Bradley.

    Exactly.

People wanna talk about Khan getting hurt, Bradley would dropped badly 3 times by Kendall Holt.

dont be mad at Khan be mad at the hype surrounding him... Khan is a dedicated boxer with good athleticism and long arms and good combos... it takes balls to get in that ring sir..

Regardless, he is just nothing special. Another fighter that will always have to go 12 rounds and hope he will not get knocked out.

The way Maidana was able to corner Khan on the ropes and land uppercuts without any answer was a joke. He was looking up at the board to see the time and used Joe Cortez to latch on to Maidana preventing him from being KO'd. His combinations are quick yes but lack true effectiveness.
If Maidana would have stepped back a foot or two he could have had Khan out 5 different times.

His mouth is wide open half the fight ?

He let a wild brawler follow him around the ring. Clearly a good fighter with power would have no problem exchanging with him and knock him out.

Its pretty obvious he was trying to hard to impress American TV, he could of jabbed and ran for 12 rounds and pitched a shut out but then they would never want him back on HBO.

THIS!! totally agree. IF Khan landed that body shot 30secs earlier, fight woulda been over in round 1!

Also IF I chose last weeks winnin lotto numbers before the draw, I would be a millionaire now.

Some ppl eh, jus right thick in the head. Call it for what it is, 2 top fighters showing great heart and skill to produce a fight that was a good show for the sport. Esp on the same night as a big UFC card.

I asked his camp to contact me. The weakness of Khan is stepping around him and landing uppercuts.

Maidana has the power of a middleweight, khan took all his shots, even hurt maidana bad and nearly ended it early, outboxed him for the most part!.

people got to waste time hating and looking stupid.lol.
