Who am i to disagree with your opinion on this fight? I believe there have been many a thread discussing it elsewhere.. Bottom line is Khan was lucky that fight and you can talk about the reasons why he wasn't lucky all night but still can't escape from the fact that he was virtually out on his feet and it matters not one jott what the reasons were for this. Maybe cortez was assisting maidana like you say but it still doesn't escape the fact that cortez was very lenient in regards to Khan being stopped.

Lucky is a very condescending word to use for any boxer who goes in there and takes his beats and stays up right and wins. I could say Froch was "lucky" to beat Dirrell. Am i right or wrong to say that? I like Froch so was happy he won, but as a neutral, he lost. Khan might have been fortunate but he certainly wasn't lucky. He dominated Maidana for most of the fight and any rematch would have Khan winning as he would fight his natural way. He took too many risks to get exposure in the US.

By the way, ill be supporting Froch against Ward just in case you think im "hating".
