khan's speed is insane faster than floyd i reckon and he's also big and has long reach. He will keep pac sharp in the defense department. They'll will probably get another sparring partner with floyd's style defense... maybe someone like forbes for offensive tactics.
JMM had trouble finding good sparring partners for Floyd's style. All the boxers with similar styles are from the Mayweather camp, including Steve Forbes.
Amir Khan as Manny's main sparring partner Zab Judah as Mayweather's main sparring partner Khan-Judah on the undercard Make it happen
In terms of speed, amir can more than prepare manny for floyd. HOWEVER, there are many more things floyd will bring to the table as well as speed. But it is pretty cool to have a world champ as a sparing partner.
There's one dude from the Dominican Republic named Euri Gonzalez who has Floyd's style. I don't think he's going to do much anytime soon, but would make a good sparring partner.
That means betraying your team, trainer, and manager. :nut Golden Boy couldn't get one for JMM, and they are closer to the Mayweathers. So it won't happen. They will have to look hard. And even then it could be a very green kid with not much experience.
Guillermo Rigondeaux can spar with Pac and mimic Floyd's style. He is tough and extremely high ring IQ, probably as high as Floyds ore maybe higher.
