Its just the usual pre-fight bull**** (not a Khan-exclusive problem), and should be taken with a pinch of salt. Pre-fight quote examples: 1a - "I feel so strong at the weight." 1b - "I'm sparking guys out in sparring." 1c - "I'm so focused on this fight; nothing else matters." Then after a loss: 1a - "I was killing myself to make weight; the power just wasn't there tonight." 1b - "We had a lot of trouble in training.....I had a cold.....there was no sparring, I actually just went down the local brewery and lifted kegs instead....I twisted my ankle jogging and was out for a couple of weeks." 1c - "I wasn't really focussed on the fight; I'm going through a real messy divorce at the moment."
Khan was really strong before the Prescott fight. Kotelnik is good enough to land a punch on him so he will win. Simple as that.
Just a term coined from our friends across the pond old bean. I appear to have exposed my own lack of knowledge of contemporary street slang!
Just joking I know what you mean. I want to see some true knockout power for once from Khan, its frustrating now watching him with just speed alone, I mean he has some power, but just not that 10 second knockout power, he done it once to an ex super featherweight named Medaji but the guy still stood up even though he couldnt walk.
I don't really know why I said it to be honest. I hate terms used by septic tanks usually!! I really do think if Khan manages to stop this guy a lot of people will have to eat a bit of humble pie and will truly demonstrate he suits the weight
Most of Khans haters wiill never eat humble pie if he beat a lb for lb reigning champion in his absolute prime with nothing to blame on for the loss.
