Khan is a beast in the gym. You all know the stories. Even peak Manny couldn't break him there.

    No mate Bradley ducked Khan!

As you said they were both at the top at 140lb and the fight had to happen. After Khan beat Maidana in December and Bradley beat Alexander in January, HBO had set the date of July 23rd 2011 for the showdown for which Bradley backed out and Zab Judah stepped in. Bradley was again offered the fight in November/December 2011 (now they both had two belts each) but again he declined and went on to fight a 'shot to pieces' Joel Casamayor.

Bradley was offered an amazing deal twice, everybody wanted to see the fight. Khan was desperate, GBP wanted it and also Gary Shaw (Bradleys promoter) was on board. It was shame the fight never happened at that time because the two of them had cleared the division and were the last two men standing. Witter, Holt, Maidana, Malignaggi, Kotelnik, Alexander, Judah, Urango, Matthysse had all been beaten/eliminated in the previous 2 years to set up the climax of the 140lb divison with all 4 belts and the vacant Ring title on the line.

Gary Shaw personally told Khan that his fighter wanted no part and Tim feared that losing to Amir would take him 'out of the Pacquiao/Mayweather sweepstakes'. Quite frankly that was a big quack for the dessert storm, who I am a big fan of!

Going up in weight is not going to build up his chin so you throw that statement out the windows.

I suppose the word ‘duck’ is subjective. I can see where you’re coming from, but for me, I don’t think he was ducking Khan. He did what was best for his own career and seeing the way that has unfolded, you have to commend him. Bradley was desperate to get a big pay day and finally got his reward against Pacquaio. Khan was an idiot, he should have followed suit and moved up if he was that desperate to secure a shot against Floyd. Just take a look at how both careers have played out, Bradley is now having another big money fight against Marquez. Khan, on the other hand, still seems to be recovering from his dubious loss to Peterson. He could have fought Senchenko or Zavec, won a title, and then would have ‘deserved’ a shot against Floyd.

Something tells me this will be Khan's last camp with Hunter.
(He gets KTFO in his next match if it's a quality WW)

People cant accept the fact is was now tight at 140, and 147 is now his natural weight... fighters out grow their you know.. its part of boxing.

Khan was at 140 for 4 years, being a pro in 8 years Khan only moved up around 5lbs in weight, so Khan from 18yrs old to 26yrs old only 5lbs in weight, Khan mov3d to 140 at age of 22yrs old.

Not to some people eyes, I called it even before the Diaz fight in the Brit forum..

Its just a natural move up in weight due to him out growing the weight, but Khan being the fighter he is he trains like mad in the gym so he still brings the weight down to 140 but he has even said its been killing him.

    Fair enough...

We'll see as he embarks further upon his welterweight adventure how well he can take punches there. :good

Compare the workrate and energy of Khan vs Maidana and Khan vs Diaz... Khan looked slow with his hands and feet in that fight.

Substitute Bradley for Khan and Khan for Alexander and this sounds REALLY familiar. Also at least Bradley had contractual issues around that time as well, especially with Shaw. Amir doesn't even have that, if he now avoids the Alexander fights its a bigger duck than Bradleys alledged one on Khan. And that's using nothing but your own logic.
